Evolution of a meme - La tarte aux pommes

Here's something I did for my Tumblr blog where I came across a so called 'meme' - kind of idea which is like a gene; it mutates with each generation.
The picture is based on Jean 'Moebius' Giraud's panel from La tarte aux pommes (Apple Pie) but I wanted to achieve some extra-moebiusness by going wild with all those shapes. Probably not even close.

A teraz coś, co zrobiłem na potrzeby bloga w Tumblr, gdzie znalazłem coś co się nazywa "mem" - rodzaj idei, która jest jak gen; przeobraża się z każdym pokoleniem.
Obrazek jest oparty na "La tarte aux pommes" (Tarta z Jabłkami) ale chciałem uzyskać tutaj pewną ekstra-moebiusowość przez zaszalenie z tymi wszystkimi kształtami. Pewnie nawet nie jestem blisko.

Gifts for our families

This year we've decided to make unusual Christmas gifts for our both families, so I had A LOT of drawing sessions in a very short period of time.
Here they are; I'm more happy with some of them than with the others, but all folks seemed to be positively surprised.
It's mostly pencil on hand-made cotton rag paper, but also ink and pastel pencils.

Good news!
Some of my prints are being displayed in Che's Cafe in Bristol centre; they are also available for purchase.
